On Friday we held a beautiful Memorial Service at Rosecrans National Cemetery. Five family members of departed shipmates were in attendance. We enjoyed a Harbor Dinner Cruise Friday evening and a day at the San Diego Zoo on Saturday. Held our annual fund-raising raffle and enjoyed a wonderful Hospitality Room, hosted by Lois Steffins and her helpers, in our free time. We were honored to have Admiral Eugene Farrell, USS HUNT Skipper 1955-1957, and his wife, Mindy, in attendance. The Admiral addressed and inspired our group at both the Memorial Service and at our Sunday evening Banquet.
